К достоинствам аудиоусилителей от компании ST Microelectronics относятся большая выходная мощность (до 100 Вт на нагрузке сопротивлением 4 Ом), возможность работы в широком диапазоне питающих напряжений (от 10 до 50 В), высокие технические характеристики (малые искажения, низкий уровень шума, широкий диапазон р

абочих частот и т. д.), минимум необходимых внешних компонентов. В микросхемах

реализованы функции оперативного бесшумного выключения выходного сигнала ("Mute") и перехода в ждущий режим ("Stand-ву"). Имеются также встроенные узлы защиты от короткого замыкания в нагрузке, от перегрева выходных транзисторов и от воздействия статического электричества по каждому выводу.

Области применения всех этих микросхем: мультимедийные аудио системы, автомобильные аудио системы, домашние кинотеатры, Hi-End TV, сабвуферы, Hi-Fi аудио системы, высококачественные системы оповещения в комплексах охранной и противопожарной безопасности, торговых залах, супермаркетах и тд.
